Etowah County Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (ECVOAD) is the forum where organizations share knowledge and resources throughout the disaster cycle—preparation, response and recovery—to help disaster survivors and their communities. Through Cooperation, Communication, Coordination and Collaboration between state, federal and local entities, non-profits, faith-based organizations, and emergency responders ECVOAD works together to bring an organized effort for preparation, response and recovery for our community. The Etowah County Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster is a member of ALVOAD and meets every other month at the Gadsden Etowah EMA office.
