211/First Call for Help has been contacted by a man living in Boaz who has a collapsed disc in his neck and needs transportation to a doctor's office in Gadsden once a month for treatment. He can be flexible in the time he schedules his appointments but it is imperative for his recovery that he get from Boaz to Gadsden and back one time each month. If you have a few hours one day a month and don't mind going for a short drive, this man would definitely appreciate it. He said you would be "an answer to his prayers!"
The individual who volunteers for this opportunity would need to provide their own vehicle and valid insurance and have a valid driver's license.
