Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio works in partnership with God and people to build affordable homes, empower families, and develop communities.

Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio is an ecumenical housing ministry that serves deserving families and communities in Franklin and Licking Counties. Our mission is to work in partnership with God and people to build affordable homes, empower families, and develop communities.
We are most known for building new homes in partnership with families living in sub-standard housing. All partner families contribute sweat equity hours and pay a zero interest mortgage which is set at an affordable rate. We have since expanded our programs and services. In 2010, our affiliate launched the Habitat ReBuild program which allows us to rehabilitate abandoned and foreclosed homes in low-income neighborhoods. These homes are rehabilitated with the help of partner families and volunteers, and serve families along the same practices and procedures as our new homes. In 2012, we incorporated Critical Home Repair projects into our list of services. These projects allow us to work in owner occupied homes that are in need of critical repair to be considered safe and decent housing.
Habitat for Humanity also offers Habitat’s ReStore, a discount home improvement store that accepts new and used materials that are re-sold to the public. Our ReStores generate revenue that off-sets much of our operational costs while recycling materials that would otherwise be considered waste. With two stores conveniently located at 3140 Westerville Road and 240 North Wilson Road, the ReStore is an excellent place to both donate items and shop.
