The Oregon Office Of Student Access And Completion (OSAC) is a state agency dedicated to creating a college-going culture for all Oregonians by providing access through information, mentoring, and financial support.

OSAC administers nearly 500 private scholarships through one electronic application online, and provides financial aid programs for postsecondary students, including the Oregon Opportunity Grant, Childcare Grant, and the Chafee Education and Training Grant. (A complete listing of grants and scholarships can be found at our website:

OSAC also provides a mentoring program (ASPIRE) in 135+ Oregon High Schools where more than 1,000 volunteers help students navigate their college choices and financial aid. ASPIRE volunteers work with high school students statewide in Oregon, serving during the school year.

Additional volunteer opportunities with OSAC in the Eugene/Springfield area include clerical assistance, scholarship application transcript review, and the staffing of our Internal Selection Committee, which selects recipients for nearly 100 of our scholarship programs. Scholarship season keeps our volunteers busy from January through July.
