Sometimes your schedule may not allow for you to volunteer for events or on committees. Another great way to support veterans in our community is to make donations to a food pantry.  Donation of personal care items, fresh vegetables, frozen foods, and non-perishable foods are greatly appreciated. Cash donations can also be used to purchase items that are needed.

The LVA Outreach Center Food Pantry is open year-round to qualifying  veterans and their families. Donations are accepted year-round, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the VA Outreach Center, 1533 First Avenue SE (across from Hy-Vee), Cedar Rapids, IA 52403
