Great!
To the December 16, 2009 poster: How about reading the information on the page that "City Impact is made up of 7 different ministries that all serve the purpose of fulfilling the vision God has given us." Many toy drives were completed during the holiday season by City Impact. I challenge this volunteer to come out during Glide events at the end when people are turned away.

This organization/event was mostly focused on religion and not on giving. The guests could not eat without hearing and joining in the religious singing. Barrelsf-fulll of perfectly good toys were carted back to the office once the sermon was over, even though there was still a long line of kids waiting for toys. I was very disappointed and felt that I angered and aliened more people than we helped. This was not Glide.
Normally I feel like I give back to the community when I volunteer. This time I did not feel that way, and felt that my time could have been used better by making a better choice on chirstmas day. I wish I had been warned that this was a religous organization focused on getting their message out.
