Are you interested in inspiring students to take an interest in a STEM career? Do you want to help 4,000 students, teachers and military families attend this TED-style event featuring STEM professionals at the top of their field? Do you want to learn how these professionals have navigated their career?

If so, volunteering for the X-STEM Symposium presented by the Department of Defense is opportunity for you!

This annual event hosted by the same team that brings you the USA Science & Engineering Festival is a TED-style event for middle and high school students. It is meant to inspire the students to pursue STEM careers.

What: 2017 X-STEM Extreme STEM Symposium
When: April 28, 2017
Time: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Where: Walter E. Washington Convention Center - 801 Mt Vernon Pl NW, Washington, DC 20001
Training: Will be a video conference call the week of the event.

Volunteers will be required to attend an hour-long webinar the week of April 24.
