Volunteer for American Heart Association Golf Tournament

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on April 5, 2017

Looking for a good excuse to take a Monday off?

The American Heart Association invites you to participate in the 33rd Annual Golf Tournament taking place on Monday, April 24th at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, MD.

The American Heart Association Golf Tournament is a captain's choice scramble that supports the fight against heart diseases and stroke. Senior level executive leaders, men and women alike, from across the metropolitan DC region compete in the tournament.

The event day includes breakfast, a silent auction, exciting challenges, raffle items and a post-event awards dinner. In 2016, participants raised nearly $200,000 for the mission of the AHA - building healthier lives free from cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

To learn more about this event, we encourage you to visit our website at www.ahagolftournament.org.

In order to ensure that the day runs smoothly, we need approximately 25 volunteers at the event on Monday, April 24, 2017. We have divided the day into two volunteer shifts:

Shift 1: 7:15 – 10:00 am: Set up, greet & check in guests, monitor auction items
Shift 2: 2:00 – 5:00 pm: Set up, auction check out, breakdown and cleanup

We will make volunteer assignments on a first-come first-served basis. These limited opportunities will fill up quickly.

To sign up to volunteer, go to http://igfn.us/form/X6iW9Q . We hope you will join us for this fun day on the golf course!
