Project itinerary is the following:
Dubuque AmeriCorps: MLK Jr. Day of Service
Monday, January 17, 2011
St. Patrick's Foley Hall (1485 Iowa Street)
9-9:30am - Registration with coffee and hot cocoa
9:30-9:45am - Volunteer Gathering and Call to Action
9:45-10am - Transport to service sites
Marshall, Jefferson, Four Oaks, Albrecht Acres, Multicultural Family Center
10am-1pm - Individualized Service at each site
1-1:15pm - Final clean-up
1:15-1:30pm - Transport back to St. Patrick's Foley Hall
1:30-3pm - Lunch and Reflection
During this "day on" the direct service we will be providing is manual labor, such as cleaning, painting, organizing, and restoration work.

For all of their MLK Jr. Day of Service Volunteers, AmeriCorps Dubuque will be providing a complimentary lunch and t-shirt. All volunteers will need to complete a Volunteer Waiver and Release Form. Volunteers under of the age of 18 will need to have a parent or guardian sign their waiver prior to our event and submit during registration. Volunteers under the age of 14 will require a parent or guardian volunteering with them to supervise throughout this event.
