About United Way Volunteers

United Way's Volunteer Resource Center exists to promote volunteerism and connect volunteers with opportunities to get out and do good at a number of local nonprofit agencies. Our online database of volunteer opportunities allows you to search at your leisure to find the perfect way to give back to your community-- be it through donations, helping out at a one-time event, or supporting an organization on an ongoing basis.

Not only do we serve United Way member agencies, the Volunteer Resource Center also collects information from more than 200 local not-for-profit organizations that have a need for volunteers. The site is connected with agencies that serve the counties of Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Marion and Pasco, all of which are looking to share their volunteer and donation needs with you-- the community.

Constantly updated, the Volunteer Resource Center promotes various Days of Service and other large group volunteer connections throughout the year. In April, we celebrate volunteers and encourage volunteerism during Florida Volunteer Month. In late September, we promote the annual United Way Days of Caring. In November and December we promote the holiday volunteer and donation needs of local nonprofit organizations, searching for everything from food servers, gift wrappers to toys for children and gift baskets. So regardless of the time of year, we'll be sure you stay connected and informed on the many ways in which you can get involved!

Thank you for visiting this site and remember to check back often, as many new volunteer opportunities are added regularly. Be sure to register in order to receive the full benefit of this FREE online tool, including email updates when a new volunteer opportunity matches the profile and interests you have specified.

Please feel free to contact the Volunteer Resource Center with questions or to get involved today as an individual or a large group: email us, or call 407-835-0900.
