Westside youth shelter needs volunteers to solicit merchants for donations used by the shelter and other youth programs. Items include clothing, toiletries, household items, etc. and stores can be in your community. Volunteers needed to serve as reading tutors and mentors for elementary students involved in westside afterschool program.   Weekly evening one- hour commitment required. Must be 18 years of age or older. Interview, background/fingerprint check and VIRTUS training required. How to Participate

  1. Register or login to the Volunteer Center.
  2. Search for a volunteer opportunity or use BVU's Volunteer Personality Quiz to help you choose.
  3. Volunteer for at least 4 hours between April 10 and August 31, 2015 (can be earned over multiple dates).
  4. Log your volunteer hours and make your game choice.
  5. BVU will send you an email with instructions to claim your tickets.
