Flower Planting, Garden Clean-up

On Sept. 25, volunteers are needed for planting, and yard clean-up at a site (Euclid & Page) for the remembrance of children who have died in Cuyahoga County.  Donations of perennials, spring flowering bulbs and shredded paper also needed.

Marathon Water Station

Pass out water to runners at the 9/24 Akron Marathon.  Volunteers needed in shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Join in the table decorating contest with other volunteer organizations.

Choose Supplies for Schools

Each week during the school year, teachers from economically disadvantaged schools in the Cleveland area come to this resource center to pick up free supplies for their students and classrooms. Volunteers are needed from mid September to mid April to help with packing and sorting supplies for the new school year.
