Museum docents are needed Tuesdays-Fridays and Sundays from 2-5pm to greet and guide visitors through this museum. Docents are an integral part of the day-to-day function of the museum as they interpret the museum collections for students and visitors. No prior museum experience is required and schedules are flexible.

On September 11 and 12, 2010, a first annual "Garlic Festival" will feature local garlic farms, local restaurants preparing garlic themed dishes, artisans, music and much more. Volunteers are needed for several aspects of the event including parking, ticket booths, runners, educational tents, marketing and more!
