Administrative Assistant

Eastside non-profit providing life skills education for children/teens needs office support for its director and managers.  Volunteer must be creative with excellent verbal/written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.  Background check, interview, and training required.

Personal Shopper

Near eastside employment program needs volunteers to provide support, encouragement and assistance to women selecting appropriate attire for interviews and work wardrobe.  Training will be provided.

Coordinating Animal Transportation

Animal welfare group helps transport animals to/from vet offices and foster homes.  Volunteers are needed to coordinate/schedule these visits.   Good phone presence, attention to detail and basic computer skills are needed.   Training will be provided.  Volunteers can work from home.

How to Participate

  1. Register or login to the Volunteer Center.
  2. Search for a volunteer opportunity or use BVU's Volunteer Personality Quiz to help you choose.
  3. Volunteer for at least 4 hours between April 10 and August 31, 2015 (can be earned over multiple dates).
  4. Log your volunteer hours and make your game choice.
  5. BVU will send you an email with instructions to claim your tickets.
