Crocheting, Knitting and Sewing Volunteers

Local hospital needs crocheters, knitters and sewers to make items for hospitalized patients.  Donated will be distributed to adult and pediatric patients.

Special Event Volunteer - Ushering

Local nonprofit in need of volunteers to aide with the wheelchair transportation of audience members from their buses to seats and to help with general ushering and program distribution for upcoming dance event on February 17, 18 and 19.  Hours needed are from 9 to noon.

Special Project Volunteers

Volunteers are needed to assist with arts and crafts to indirectly support Hospice patients.  Projects could include painting pictures, making ornaments, scrap booking, etc.  Brief training required.

How to Participate

  1. Register or login to the Volunteer Center.
  2. Search for a volunteer opportunity or use BVU's Volunteer Personality Quiz to help you choose.
  3. Volunteer for at least 4 hours between April 10 and August 31, 2015 (can be earned over multiple dates).
  4. Log your volunteer hours and make your game choice.
  5. BVU will send you an email with instructions to claim your tickets.
