Food Pantry Volunteers

Volunteers needed to pack food in a Cleveland area nonprofit warehouse, run food to the distribution point and/or pack the food for clients.   Must be able to lift 25 pounds.  Volunteers are needed weekdays, weekly.

School Supplies to Kids in Need

Local nonprofit in need of volunteers to assist teachers with checking in and selecting donated school supplies in a downtown Cleveland warehouse.  Volunteers are needed weekdays on an ongoing basis.

Fund Raising/Development Assistance

Work with the Director of Development for a neighborhood development nonprofit+++ on annual fund raising and communication projects, including assistance with special events, newsletters, promotional materials, annual campaigns and grants. Strong communication and critical thinking skills, experience with computers needed.

How to Participate

  1. Register or login to the Volunteer Center.
  2. Search for a volunteer opportunity or use BVU's Volunteer Personality Quiz to help you choose.
  3. Volunteer for at least 4 hours between April 10 and August 31, 2015 (can be earned over multiple dates).
  4. Log your volunteer hours and make your game choice.
  5. BVU will send you an email with instructions to claim your tickets.
