Administrative Volunteer

Volunteers needed to work in the office of the Senior Chaplain at a local youth correctional facility.  Duties would include answering the phone, filing documents, mailing letters, ordering supplies, and scheduling appointments.  Training is provided.  Must be at least 18 years old and be able to type.

Film Lover Volunteers

Local nonprofits in need of volunteers for special event from March 18-28, 2010.  Various shifts available.  Training is provided prior to the event.

Adult Literacy Tutoring

Tutors needed to work individually with students at Cleveland area nonprofit (weekday evenings) on reading, writing and math skills, offer encouragement and support, and help students develop confidence and positive attitudes about learning. Free one-to-one tutoring in basic adult education and GED preparation available. Next training, Jan. 23, 9-2.

How to Participate

  1. Register or login to the Volunteer Center.
  2. Search for a volunteer opportunity or use BVU's Volunteer Personality Quiz to help you choose.
  3. Volunteer for at least 4 hours between April 11 and August 31, 2017 (can be earned over multiple dates).
  4. Log your volunteer hours and make your game choice.
  5. BVU will send you an email with instructions to claim your tickets.
