The mission of Global Cleveland is to increase the population of Greater Cleveland and strengthen the region by working with employers, colleges and universities and community organizations to attract and connect newcomers to the region's opportunities, resources and services, and promoting the region as a welcoming place for all.
Global Cleveland is a non-profit organization focused on regional economic development through actively attracting newcomers (defined as US-born and non US-born individuals) and welcoming and connecting them economically and socially to the many opportunities throughout Greater Cleveland.
Our vision is to create a welcoming region that is a place of opportunity for people of all ethnic and international backgrounds, and an employment culture based on merit and openness, regardless of age or longevity in Cleveland.
Global Cleveland's goal is to be a leader on issues of newcomer attraction and talent retention. It will achieve this goal by connecting the various resources of the region and collaborating with existing organizations to:
-attract newcomers who will support the growth and talent needs of businesses, industries and institutions
-assist newcomers and young professionals establish roots in our neighborhoods, and
-foster an inclusive and welcoming community.

||We are located at 200 Public Square (on Euclid Avenue, across the street from the House of Blues). Street parking downtown is free on the weekends, and free one to two hour street parking is available during the week - unless there is a special event. Taking public transportation is recommended! We are located on Euclid Avenue with direct convenient access to the RTA Healthline, the free with a smile downtown trolly, and a 5 minute walk from Tower City Rapid Station.

How to Participate
- Register or login to the Volunteer Center.
- Search for a volunteer opportunity or use BVU's Volunteer Personality Quiz to help you choose.
- Volunteer for at least 4 hours between April 10 and August 31, 2015 (can be earned over multiple dates).
- Log your volunteer hours and make your game choice.
- BVU will send you an email with instructions to claim your tickets.
Search for volunteer opportunities that address the issues that are close to your heart.
