Organization Details:

Wigs For Kids
Last updated on April 10, 2017

To provide a hair replacement system to any child who has lost hair as a result of chemotherapy, radiation treatments, alopecia, burns, or other medical circumstances.

Wigs for Kids is a non-profit organization that provides hair replacement systems for children 18 years of age and younger who have had hair loss due to medial circumstances such as chemotherapy, radiation treatments, alopecia, burns or other medical conditions. Hair replacement systems are created and provided to the children at no cost to them or their parents. Those requesting a hair piece must complete our application form which can be found online at www.wigsforkids.org. Once the application is reviewed and accepted a packet of information and materials will be mailed and the process begins.

Wigs for Kids has been in existence for over 30 years providing hair replacement systems for children in need due to medical conditions. Each hair system provided is provided free of charge to the child and their families. We are a non-profit organization that requires volunteers to input data, open mail and sort/measure & box up donated hair. In order for us to keep our overhead low we rely on heart giving volunteers to help with this so that Wigs for Kids is able to continue to provide hair replacement systems at no cost to the children and their families.
