The mission of the Barry County United Way & Volunteer Center is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of Barry County communities.

Description:
Our Volunteer Center is a community clearinghouse for volunteerism; energizing and inspiring people to make a difference.

We connect individuals who are willing to donate their time and talents with non-profit organizations, with an intentional focus to create the best possible fit for both volunteer and agency, throughout the Barry County area.

History:
Our annual campaign raises money that is used to fund programs and services through local not-for-profit agencies that serve individuals most in need in our community, including at-risk youth, families in crisis, the homeless and low-income seniors.

Since 2003, we have distributed over $1.5 million dollars to 28 different local organization and helped in the recruitment of nearly 7,000 volunteers who have contributed an estimated 280,000 hours of service in our local communities.
