Translators Needed (Vietnamese, Khmer, Arabic, Farsi, French, Spanish)

RSS XML FeedBackground Active Oct 29, 2005 to Jan 3, 2006

Translators are needed to work with important announcements that will be distributed to refugee families. Many language abilities are needed -- including Vietnamese, Khmer, Arabic, Farsi, French, and Spanish.

Often important information does not get passed on in a clear and appropriate way so that families understand what they need to know, especially concerning the school system. Translators will be asked, on occasion, to translate flyers and other information for refugee families,

This volunteer opportunity can also be done over email. Volunteers are required to attend an orientation session.
