Martin Luther King, Jr. Tribute & Day of Service

RSS XML FeedBackground Active Dec 15, 2011 to Jan 16, 2012

"Everybody can be great... because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love." – Martin Luther King, Jr.

Each year, individuals across the country come together to serve their neighbors and community for the MLK Day of Service. This year, Volunteer Arlington encourages you to take a pledge to support Martin Luther King, Jr.'s call to service by giving back to the community.

When you make a pledge to get involved, we'll reply with information on how to make your volunteer project a success.

To learn more about the County's 43th Annual Tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr. on Sunday, January 15, 2012, visit the County's Tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr. page. The event will feature live music, dance, storytelling, and more.
