You are invited to a Learning Forum, Wednesday January 26, 2005, 7:00 pm at the Arlington Central Library - Auditorium (1015 N. Quincy Street).  The theme of the evening is Community Development in Arlington County and will feature a panel discussion with community leaders in the arts, business, local government, and housing.  Come join us for an evening of food, drink, and discussion!

Guest Panel:

  • Jim Byers, Arlington County Cultural Affairs Division
  • Roseanne Campbell, The Arlington Community Temporary Shelter (TACTS)
  • Tara Miles, Arlington Economic Development (AED)
  • Virginia Patton, Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH)
  • Palma Strand, Professor and co-author of the civic engagement study for Arlington County

Come check out the booths of participating local organizations to find out how you can:

  • give back to your community
  • become more civically engaged
  • really get to know Arlington and all it has to offer
  • participate in social and community activities that don't require a commute to D.C.
