A shopping experience that helps preschool keiki

You can pick up a volunteer application at our main office, just across the parking lot from the thrift shop, at 2707 South King Street. We're open from 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday. Or you can email me your address, and I'll mail you an application form. If you have a chance to drop by or call the Thrift shop on a Monday or Thursday morning, please ask to speak to the volunteer coordinator, Bev Ashford. KCAA Pre-schools of Hawaii established a Thrift Shop in 1962 that supports the programs of our seven preschools. It is completely staffed and organized by volunteers who sort donations, price, display, and sell items in a shop located in the Moiliili area. Our volunteers take great pride in making it a fun place to shop for affordable clothing, books, toys, kitchenware, notions, and decorative items. Preparation work is done on Monday and Thursday morning. The shop is open for business two days a week(Wednesday 10-2 and Saturday 9-noon). We need reliable volunteers with a team spirit. We can also use volunteers who have a computer at home and could help us by making signs or typing documents. Sponsored by KCAA Pre-Schools of Hawai'i.
