KAUPA (Kalihi Ahupua'a Ulu Pono Ahahui) Needs Artists For Kalihi Waena Wall Mural!

If you love art and want to develop your talents, this is an opportunity of a lifetime. KAUPA is looking for local youth and adult artists to help paint a 250-foot, graffiti-tagged-wall along Kalihi Stream. Artists will attend two art workshops in preparation for painting a wall mural. Meleanna Meyer, John "Prime" Hina, Kahi Ching, Harinani Orme, and Solomon Enos are the extremely talented artists who are directing the youth in the basics of line, form, color and proportion. The workshops will culminate in the painting of the mural in July. For more information about this exciting project, click here.
