Established 1982 Bajito Onda is an award winning, globally recognized agency for the development of educational programs and working with thousands of disadvantaged or at-risk persons in teaching them how to take their basic artistic talents and develop them into commercially acceptable graphic design. Bajito Onda programs work side by side hands-on to empower participants in learning all creative processes such as Idea Development, Layout, Computer Design, Color Separation, Pre Press, Professional Photography, screen making, Screen Printing of flat as well as apparel goods, 'hand pulled art printing' (artistic serigraphy), mural painting, responsible community art as opposed to vandalism or unwanted grafitti, or tagging. New to the Tucson area Bajito Onda orginated in Dallas, Texas where all programs were developed. Bajito Onda is the prestigious winner of the 1996 JCPenny Golden Rule Award, nominated by the U.N. for the Dubai International Best Practices Award 2002, a presenter at 4 United Nations Habitat for Safer Cities Conferences in Monterrey, N.L. Mexico, Texas Governor's Award, Nokia 'Wireless Links the Community Award', Universidad de Ley Y Criminologia, Tecnologico Monterrey presenter.
