Darien Book Aid Plan Now Open On Saturday Mornings

The Darien Book Aid Plan is seeking volunteers who love books and would like to help sort and shelve donated books, and choose and pack books to fulfill requests preparing the books for shipment.  The workshop is now open on Saturdays they will have a need for Saturday morning volunteers from 10 am to 12 noon.  In additon to the Saturday hours, the Darien workshop hours are: 2-4pm Tuesdays, 9:30 am to 12 noon on Wednesdays and Thursdays and 6 to 8 pm on Wednesdays. It is helpful if you are familiar with a broad range of books and have an idea of what kinds of books work well for a particular audience.
