The Youth Volunteer Corps of Western CT is the only YVC affiliate in the state of Connecticut and offers youth ages 11-18 many opportunities to become community volunteers.  The first meeting of 2013 will be held on Monday, January 21 at 10 am in The Volunteer Center office at 85 West Street in Danbury.  This meeting will be held on Martin Luther King Day.  We will be discussing upcoming projects and will also complete a "kit project" to benefit homeless individuals.  This will be a chance for you to meet the new YVC Coordinator, Deirdra Wallin, and also find out more about this exciting program and how you can become involved.  For more information or to RSVP please contact Deirdra at  203-797-1154 or deirdra.wallin@uwwesternct.org.
