List of active board committees: The Kettle Moraine Symphony Orchestra is seeking active, enthusiastic and passionate people to join our Board of Directors! Founded in 1968, the 62-member Kettle Moraine Symphony presents high quality live orchestra performances for all ages. We rely on donors, grants, fund raisers, and the support of volunteers and board members. Our board members have a unique opportunity to be very involved in the Orchestra. Board members meet bi monthly and serve for a term of three years. There are a number of committees that are staffed by our board members-Executive, Finance, Personnel, Fund Raising, Concert, Public Relations, Marketing, Nominating, Budget, Special Events-so interested individuals will have the opportunity to serve where their interests lie and talents are strongest.

A BOARD MEMBER IS EXPECTED TO:
• Serve a three-year term of office
• Attend all board meetings (six per year) or give ample notice if unable to attend
• Support all KMS concerts and events
• Participate in fundraising activities
• Represent KMS to the community
• Recruit KMS friends of all kinds: audience members, musicians, students, businesses, donors, advertisers, sponsors – everyone is a potential friend of KMS
• Be an active member in at least one key activity
• Give a financial contribution that is personally significant

Position title: Board And Committee Connection Position
Description: Desire to keep our 60 piece orchestra live in the West Bend area. Attend bi monthly meetings in West Bend usually the last Monday of the month at 5:30. Grant writing, fund raising, marketing, review budgets, ad hoc committees, help the day of concerts needed are just a few things we need to produce a concert.
