MLK Day Volunteer Project
5 service projects are being held in honor of Dr. King: assemble care packages, process clothing donations, create greeting cards, join a food drive, or clean and organize rooms at a shelter.

Wednesday, January 18
Volunteer Fair
Each spring, 10,000 Hours Show hosts a volunteer fair where local non-profit organizations showcase their organizations and opportunities in efforts to recruit student volunteers. Students will be able to come in, talk to the representatives of the non-profits, and find volunteering opportunities that interest them.

Thursday, January 19
Volunteer/Service Lecture
A guest lecturer will speak on the importance of service in today's world and economic conditions focusing on volunteering can help not only the world around them, but volunteers themselves.
