Food Pantry To Re-open After Fire
St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry located at 926 LaSalle will re-open October 28th for food distribution to the needed. The Pantry will be open: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 am to 1 pm.

ITNRacineCounty (Independent Transportation Service) Needs Drivers
ITNRacineCounty (Independent Transportation Service) is the ONLY non-profit, dignified transportation alternative for older people, ages 55 + older, and those of any age, with visual impairments who can no longer drive in Racine County. ITN provides rides in private automobiles, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with volunteer drivers who are trained to ensure the safety and comfort of our riders. Volunteer drivers offer "door-through-door", "arm through arm" service including help with steps and packages, heavy doors and walkers.

September 20th Yorkville Famiily Fun Fest Needs Volunteers

Boston Store Goodwill Sale Needs Volunteers September 17th - October 4th
The Goodwill Sale is scheduled for Wednesday, September 17th through Saturday, October 4th, 2014. Goodwill is recruiting two volunteers per shift to assist Boston Store personnel collect donations at all six Boston Store locations: Southridge, Bayshore, Brookfield Square, Racine, Mayfair and Grand Avenue. Volunteers will accept customer donations placing them in the receptacles. This activity may require some physical activity such as lifting bags, reaching and bending. The volunteers will present the customers with a Boston Store discount coupon for every item donated.

Adopt-a-Beach And Volunteer To Clean It Up
Alliance for the Great Lakes is recruiting volunteers to run beach clean-ups throughout the month of September across the state of Wisconsin. These clean-ups are part of local, regional, and global efforts to give back to our communities and protect our shorelines.

Cancer Center Needs Volunteers
Greet and escort patients throughout the cancer center. Many patients will need to be escorted to the infusion room. You must be will to stay in the waiting areas to introduce yourself and check on patient’s needs, offer to visit and/or provide other distractions such as books/DVDs, etc.
