Wheel N Chip Volubteers work outdoors in teams on maintenance projects. They place chips on the trails, trim bushes, mend fences, burn the prairie, remove invasive plant species and put up signs.. Volunteers go through an application process. In addition to the application, they will pay for a background check and come to the nature center for an inpperson interview and orientation. They must be physically able to stand, walk and work outdoors in all weather with minimal supervision. This opportunity is sponsored by: Wehr Nature Center
