Informal, to meet the needs of the new member. This could be via a phone meeting, coming to our office, or meeting with the board president one-half hour before the first board meeting. |

Attend 4 of the 6 board meetings per year. Be committed to the mission of helping single mothers and their children. Providing input, networking, bringing contacts and ideas, and decision-making at board meetings are essential. If board members can volunteer additional time on programs or events, that is appreciated. |
