This site was launched on United Way Day of Action, June 21, 2008 and agencies are identifying opportunities for inclusion.  As opportunities are marked with medallions indicating E, I or H, they will be available by following the instructions below.  Check now and check again to become engaged.

Every individual has the opportunity to make a difference through the power of volunteer action.  Help provide the building blocks for a good life for all--a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health.  Take time to check-out volunteer opportunities in the areas of EDUCATION, INCOME and HEALTH by taking the following steps:

Go the volunteer homepage of youcanvolunteer.org.

In the top left-hand box, click on "Search.
3.
Scroll down to the bottom of the search page and you will notice some medallions and a drop-down box. 
4.
Using the drop-down box, click on E, I or H to locate opportunities that fall under each of those categories and then click on "go."
5.
You will see another search panel....scroll down below that and you will find the opportunities.  You can go from there to the agency (e-mail or phone) to indicate your interest or ask for more information.
