Visiting Friend needed in Billings Heights

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Are you seeking fulfilling, meaningful volunteer work? Can you offer companionship to an homebound elderly person? A commitment of just one to four hours a week provides the social interaction our clients need.

A friendly female senior would love to have a visiting friend who could come by weekly to chat, reminisce, and occasionally go out for lunch or a drive. The volunteer would also need to drive the senior twice/month to a hair dresser appointment a few blocks away. The senior uses a walker and needs minor assistance getting in and out of a car.

*Minimum age: 18
*Fill out application, participate in an interview/training
*Submit to a criminal background check
*Provide three personal references
*Commit to three months of service
*Submit to a TB test(free)
*Provide proof of $100/300,000 vehicle liability insurance
