Program - Community Connect (Information and Referral)

General Information Agency: United Way of Southwest New Mexico Program name: Community Connect (Information and Referral) Description : The United Way of Southwest New Mexico maintains software which provides the platform for information and referral. Agencies are able to enter information about their agencies and the programs they operate into the software. To find out about services in the community, click on either VOLUNTEER or GET HELP the first page of the United way web site. This takes you to the COMMUNITY CONNECT logo. Click on it. TO FIND OUT ABOUT SERVICES (food, housing, day care, etc.), type the needed service in "Get Help" and press the "Go" button. This will take you to links for all the agencies that provide this service. By clicking the links, you can find detailed information about the services provided. The software will also allow you to link to the organization that you are interested in and allow you to learn more about them and what they have to offer. Hours of Operation: Monday - Thursday 9am -12 noon and 1-5pm. The web site is available 24 hours. Eligibility Requirements: Anyone is eligible to utilize the Information and Referral Services (both by calling United Way or by using the web site).
