Do you have what it takes to be a Team Leader?

Join United Way for Southeastern Michigan and millions of citizens across the country who will come together for the 22nd annual Make a Difference Day on Saturday, October 27th. Make a Difference Day is celebrated each year on the 4th Saturday in October, and continues to be one of the biggest national days of service in history. On this day, hundreds of metro-Detroiters will gather in service around the areas of education, income and basic needs to ensure that everyone has the chance to build a successful future.

  • Working in an enthusiastic and supportive atmosphere
  • Leadership training and development
  • Learning about community issues under Basic Needs, Financial Stability and Educational Preparedness

Requirements to become a Team Leader:

  • Active volunteer with interest in service, volunteerism and leadership
  • Confidence in your ability to lead groups and teach others
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and work with teams
  • Demonstrated strong leadership potential
  • Must be 18 years old or older
