The Concert of Colors is an annual diversity festival that takes place in Detroit.  This year is the 20th anniversary and an album will be created from all of the performances.  Any revenue generated from the sales of these albums with help to benefit Focus:HOPE.  We need volunteers to help backstage to check people in and to help insure that the dressing rooms are fully stocked.  We also need volunteers to help direct guests that are entering the building on Saturday and Sunday are directed to the right locations for the different performances.

The Concert of Colors is hosted by the DSO, DIA, Charles H. Wright Museum, Arab American National Museum and ACCESS and consists of many different performances that began on July 7th and will continue until July 15th.  This Saturday and Sunday events will be hosted by the DSO at the Max M. Fisher Theater on Woodward in Detroit.  If you would like to see a detailed list of performances or to read the history of the Concert of Colors please visit http://www.concertofcolors.com/.

Volunteers are needed on Saturday, July 14th and Sunday, July 15th. To register to volunteer, please contact Molly Manley at mrmanley@umd.umich.edu or 313.377.2580.
