2010 Adopt-A-Family Program

2010 Adopt-A-Family Holiday Programs For the last several years, the Metro Detroit region has been reeling from the hard times that have affected the entire country. As every year, the holiday season becomes the most trying time for struggling families to provide basic items for one another. This holiday season, these families are awaiting your help this to present them with the necessary items and resources they need.   You can help by participating in an Adopt-A-Family Program by donating your time or holiday items to agencies and families in need. The following agencies have indicated to us that they have an Adopt-A-Family Program and are in need of items for local families.    Agencies with Adopt-A-Family & Holiday Gift Programs (Please remember that each program is based on the needs of the specific clients the agencies serve.)   Matrix Human Services Adopt-A-Family Angel Tree Project Contact: Latrice Jordan, Director of Marketing and Community Relations (313) 831-1000 x1135 ljordan@matrixhs.org www.matrixhumanservices.org Deadline for gifts/donations: December 9, 2010 Family assistance: Families to be assisted have already been identified.   Community Housing Network Adopt-A-Family Contact: Carrie Alexander (248) 269-1319 calexander@chninc.net Deadline: December 6, 2010 Assistance: This program is open to qualifying households currently receiving services in our supportive housing programs. We are still seeking donors who would like to adopt individuals or families.   Franklin Wright Settlements Contact: Remy C.
