SART volunteers carry a beeper, nights or weekends; they receive pages from hospital personnel, and contact survivors who are being treated at a hospital. They provide information on sexual assault, the legal system, support, and safety planning. SART Volunteers are a critical support to survivors who have just been assaulted
Shelter/HelpLine volunteers are crucial to the work done on behalf of survivors and their children in the shelter and on the HelpLine. Shelter/HelpLine Volunteers engage in crisis intervention, provide referrals, safety plan with survivors, provide information on dating and domestic violence, and interact with women and children in the shelter.
Volunteers will help our seniors with a myriad of tasks including painting, cleaning, lawn maintenance and small home repair projects. Each of these tasks is essential to our organization's mission to keep seniors in their homes and communities of choice. Projects can be arranged any day of the week
Looking for individuals interested in volunteering occassionally for stewardship activities at Sterling State Park. Volunteers are especially needed from mid-May to mid-June to plant native seedlings and in October to collect native seed.
