Mission Statement

Educating U-4 Life mission is to assist children and their families in improving their academic skills; obtaining their General Education Degree (GED); developing life skills; and obtaining financial literacy which will allow them to become an asset to their household, neighborhood, city, state and the world.

Description:
As a program partner at Don Bosco Hall Community Resource Center, Educating U-4 Life provides the following : Open small-group tutoring to grades K-12, Tutoring for the Youth Assistance Program (Y.A.P.), Tutoring for the Male Leadership Academy (M.A.L.E.) Program, 5th and 6th Grades Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP) tutoring, Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) and Achievement Test / Scholastic Assessment Test (ACT/SAT) tutoring; and General Education Diploma (GED)tutoring. Our GED Preparation program is for students age 17 and up.
As an authorized provider of the nationally recognized financial advisor Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University Course, Educating U-4 Life teaches individu-als and families how to properly manage money.

History:
Educating U-4 Life is a Michigan based 501C-3 non-profit educational services provider. The organization was founded in 2010 for the purpose of promoting awareness and solutions to the seriousness of illiteracy. We look forward to a future when illiteracy has been eradicated from our society and literacy is achieved by all.
