Description:
Using a unique unified model of services, The Guidance Center provides a continuum of services for its clients within a single system, making services accessible and affordable. We are a private, non-profit agency, accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and supported by third-party insurance, private pay, and public and private grants. The Guidance Center is a 501 (c)(3) agency operating with a $25 million annual budget.

History:
The Guidance Center, founded in 1958, is a behavioral health and human services organization dedicated to the mental well-being of children, adults and families in Southeast Michigan. Our services— spanning from Early Childhood, Children and Youth, Adult Services and Developmental Disabilities — serve more than 26,200 children, adults and families each year.
