Full Life Care Adult Day Health Center improves the quality of life for frail seniors and persons with disabilities by providing a structured day program of therapeutic activities, socialization, exercise, nursing care and rehab.
Description:
The Adult Day Health Center, in Everett, is open Monday through Friday. Our clients have physical or cognitive limitations, and benefit from the activities, rehab, and nursing care provided. We strive to give every client a day that maximizes his or her potential, is entertaining, educational, and fun. Caregivers, too, are helped by having a time of respite from the daily demands of caregiving. Staff consists of a Registered Nurse, Activities Coordinator, Social Worker, and Case Managers and Program Assistants. A Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapist are available daily. A nutritious hot lunch is served daily, and special diets are accommodated.
History:
Full Life Care has a 30 year history of serving frail elders, people with disabilities and chronic illnesses, and their caregivers. Full Life assists more than 700 people and their families each year through its 5 day health centers, care management program, supported housing, and home-care services. Funding is through the United Way, Title XIX, the City of Everett, and client fees.

Overall Experience

Wonderful, caring staff and delightful participants
 |
My participant was encouraged to grow and participate in the program. She was supported by caring staff. There were opportunities for mental, physical and social growth, as well as a hot meal for the participants. posted on September 9, 2002 |
