Sno-Isle Libraries mission is to be a community doorway to reading, resources, and lifelong learning and a center for people, ideas and culture.
Description:
Sno-Isle Libraries serves over 630,000 individuals through 21 community libraries, a bookmobile, outreach services to homebound and day care centers in Snohomish and Island counties. Sno-Isle Libraries welcomes volunteers of all ages and walks of life. Our volunteers contribute their unique talents, skills and knowledge to enhance Sno-Isle Libraries programs and services. Whether it's a short term project, or a regularly scheduled task, volunteers work to enrich our community libraries.
History:
Community libraries and volunteer opportunities are available in Arlington, Brier, Camano Island, Clinton, Coupeville, Darrington, Edmonds, Freeland, Granite Falls, Lake Stevens, Langley, Lynnwood, Marysville, Mill Creek, Monroe, Mountlake Terrace, Mukilteo, Oak Harbor, Snohomish, Stanwood, and Sultan. Volunteer opportunities are also available at the Service Center, located in Marysville.
