Description:
Become a Senior Companion volunteer! Your kindness can create life-changing possibilities.

Opportunity:
If you want to share your experience and compassion with isolated seniors or adults with disabilities, you have what it takes to be a Senior Companion.

You can volunteer in an adult day setting or in a client’s home. Services may include one-on-one companionship, nutrition support, encouraging socialization, escorts to medical appointments, and/or caregiver respite. Opportunities are available in Pierce and Kitsap Counties.
Requirements:
Senior Companions are 55 or better, low-income, in good health, and serve at least 15 hours per week.

Benefits:
Eligible volunteers receive a tax-free hourly stipend, meal and transportation reimbursement, orientation & training, and supplemental accident and liability insurance.
