Program volunteers will be assigned to work in programs that encourage individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to learn daily living skills and vocational skills. Program Volunteers will work along with Direct Support Professionals to assist in implementing daily programs. Volunteers are encouraged to share their personal talents and ideas to enhance the programs. Opportunities to volunteer with small or large groups are available at our Crown Point, Gary, Highland and Hobart locations.

Requirements are specific to the commitment. Volunteer Services Coordinator will determine if the volunteer will need to provide a criminal history and TB test. References and drivers license may be requested as well depending on the longevity of the volunteering.
