Project Thanksgiving Volunteers

United Way of Palm Beach County and WPEC NEWS 12 are partnering in a new, three-year project to stop hunger in Palm Beach County. As part of this initiative we are teaming up for Project Thanksgiving. We are looking for volunteers interested in assisting at WPEC NEWS 12 to answer incoming phone calls from agencies and individuals. We are looking for a few committed volunteers 1-2 days per week for 2-4 hours per day for a two month period of time beginning August 29th. Volunteers will also assist in some data entry into an excel spreadsheet. Other light duties may also be needed, such as assisting with mailings.
