Volunteer Opportunity - Clinic Assistant

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Assist Nurse Practitioner in providing direct health care services to clients at 3 different sites. Health care services include health education workshops as well as physical assessments, preventative health screenings, laboratory and diagnostic testing, nutrition, high blood pressure, asthma, hypertension, diabetes and Hepatitis C testing/treatment/maintenance, pre-participation sports exams, treatment of infectious diseases including fevers, viral and bacterial illness.

Criminal background check, computer skills, domestic violence training. Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Medical Assistants, licensed in the State of Florida, are required for this volunteer position.
