Imagine back when you were a first time expectant dad? Do you remember how uncomfortable you were when you brought your new little package home? This is where our Boot Camp for New Dads (BCND) comes in. We are looking for additional volunteers (veteran dads) to help with the Boot
Two ways to help:

As a guest host you will help the host in greeting visitors and interacting with the children and families in the natural playground and surrounding areas within the center. There will be opportunities to read to children and help to pass out program information. Hours are varied and include weekends.
The need for volunteering is primarily in the Train Garden. Volunteers are needed to care for the garden itself, as well as to maintain and operate the G-Scale Trains on the large scale layout located in the garden. Train activity is on Saturdays noon to 5pm from April through October
Figge volunteers assist the museum with a variety of events and programs. Many of our programs involve helping facilitate Figge classes and programs for children and families. more
We are looking for volunteer to become leaders in our flood fighting efforts in Davenport Iowa! The first training is on October 4th at Public Works, 1200 E. 46th Street in Davenport. You can learn the operations of coordinating the overall volunteer sandbag process. Choose a training time
