Summer can be a great time at the Putnam Museum. Campers explore many types of subjects as we dive into different cultures, STEM topics and even engineering. All of our camps are hands-on and located at the Putnam Museum. Camps meet daily from 9am to 4pm, Monday through Friday. some camps (grades 6-8) are done in one day. Volunteers are not required to volunteer every day. If you have a specific skill or interest that relates to one of our camps or you are generally interested in helping campers create a truly unique summer, please contact us! Volunteers need to be able to work alongside museum educators and children in grades k-8. Some activities may be outside or physical. Volunteers should expect to be on their feet, so please wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Campers bring their lunches, so if you are volunteering, you may want to bring a lunch or snack as well.
